... came to the world in Düsseldorf, Lady Anna von Jülich-Kleve-Berg, or better known in the history of England as Lady Anne of Cleves . was the second daughter of John III, Duke of Jülich and Maria, Duchess of Julich-Berg. Anna started taking a strong Christian education, promoted by his own mother. His father, he soon became interested in the teachings of Erasmus and had a modest role during the years of the Reformation. It was mostly with the advent to the throne of his brother William, and the marriage of his sister Sybille with John Frederick, head of the Protestant Confederation of Germany, where religious changes came to life.
On October 4, 1539 agreement was signed Ana marriage to King Henry VIII of England, which had already gone through three marriages, and would make his fourth wife Anne, making her a new Queen for England
